Do Sanparks have a colour book or brochure that advertises all the national parks? This would be great for tourism and encourage people to try lesser known parks.. I say that as someone who has only been to two (soon to be three) of the national parks

We call it "The Website".
But yes, there are folders and such, but where to get it? Joep should be able to get you some. |

I say that as someone who has only been to two (soon to be three) of the national parks Hi Graham SANParks does have a brochure titled A - Z of South African National Parks. If you are based near Pretoria, you can come to our Head Office and have a copy. I will find out which other parks have this brochure as well. |

Thanks Lesego for your reply. Alas I live in wet England, having left South Africa as a child in the 1980s! Would love to pick up some brochures as I have hundreds of friends and colleagues I have been promoting South Africa to, but alas I will land at O R Tambo and head due east towards Mashishing/Lydenburg and return from the south east as we finish our holiday in Drakensberg Mountains.
The E-brochures are excellent but of course there is nothing like the feel of flicking through the real thing.. Many of those who have asked me about South Africa seem intrigued by the sheer diversity of areas so am sure many of them would be tempted by some of the lesser known parks..... |
