Hi All, the date for the meet in Dusseldorf (17./18.08.2012) is coming nearer - and I start planning this event.
We will meet Friday evening, hopefully for a nice japanese dinner between Ibis Hotel (near main station) and Altstadt (old city) and continue on Saturday after breakfast with a nice tour of the city (we'll walk, so bring comfy shoes...), maybe a visit to the Aquazoo (? its still optional...), hop on the tram to Kaiserswerth and return to the Altstadt (old city) by ship just in time for dinner at one of our famous Brauhaus (beer houses). How about you? Are you really coming and participating? Please confirm via PM. Thanks and I hope to see you in Dusseldorf! |

Interested.......but how wheelchair friendly would the weekend be?
I can walk short distances, and go up stairs, but can't stand for long, so need a wheelchair for any distance walking. |

CV, you sure haven't thought of this answer
completely wheelchair accessible. My SO is permanently using a wheelchair and I have a look at this matter (as all other organizers had before for the meets in Dordrecht, Bergen, Cologne , just to make sure he is able to participate...) If you have any special needs don't hesitate to pm me, will be happy to assist! So, what about joining us, CV? |

Maybe we(vinkie and Apex Predator) can make it to the meet too....we live near the German border so....
Would be nice to meet some of the mites..... Will check if it fits our Summer plans..... |
