Hi all,

Brooklyn Birder will be in Cape Town in early August, and would love to meet forumites, especially those who have been to KTP recently. Practically, the best time to meet would be Friday, 5th.

She is staying in the city centre, and a budget/family meal was mooted, so if you would like to join us, please take this as the official invite for 19h15 or so at the Waterfront (Santa Ana) Spur.

Please reply via the thread, so I can book closer to the time.

We have not recently been to KTP; but since moving this way, are dying for a CT meet as we have read so much about the fun you guys have, so count us in!

Excellent reason for another meet! What dates would suit you Val? And venue? Area?

BB just alerted me to this thread, sorry I didn't introduce myself before! :lol:

I am excited that so many have expressed interest, will be great to meet some of you--I've been reading many trip reports--Scouter, Caracal and others-- and posts--recognize many of your "names".

Jonkers, sure hope you can make it as BB states you will have up-to-the minute info!

Can't wait for our trip, just a few weeks now...

By the way, probably should add, this is our 2nd trip to South Africa, we were there in 2009 and visited Kruger, Dullstroom, Blyde River Canyon. Fell in love like so many others and now here we are coming back again!

BB, SO and I are keen......will try to keep an eye on the thread (fb updates welcomed) - going to KTP October 2011 again...so not going to be of much use when it comes to "latest KTP info" - but would love to meet and greet forumites we have not met yet.
