I am going to try and post as many challenges on this quiz as I can, but anyone is free to add thier own questions.

I will post a capture from Google Earth of a place in one of the parks and you try and figure out where it is. I will give the park, and sometimes a tip.

This famous waterhole is near a junction , the road leading vertically to the north is a no entry road .
....If you are under its influence you could get lost ....

Yes , it is Bangu (meaning canabis / dagga) waterhole east of Balule .
The no entry road leads to the Olifants trail camp , and previously one would have found the magnificent Gorge picnic spot along the road at the Olifants river .

Ok , let me sneak one in ...

Yes Mtomeni , just off the H 2-2 Voortrekker road . Built by ranger Rowland Jones in 1932 as far as I remember .

Another clue : Notice how the entire bridge length has caused silting upstream , thus no water flow underneath the bridge .

Correct , Imberbe it is Biyamiti weir , but I am sure you did not need the clues .


This pic taken from the single lane roadway below the weir .
I freewheeled the car with the motor turned off and was only about 10 metres away from the elephant , but had to start the car to make way for an approaching car and that disturbed the peace and the elephant left .

I have plenty of Eye in the Sky pictures , but someone else should take a turn , so I will refrain for a few days in case someone else wants to take a turn .
