I'll give it a try
I came about in very hard times , centuries ago, but I proudly still stand - Baanbreker I would certainly be ill, if my goal post I lost - ???? You learn and you see if you follow the lines, and eventually you'll see what I see in this land - Mooiplaas I do see the coucal, but it's not as it seems ??? and the insect, as well, that runs off to be wed - Shongololo river running towards the Tsendze river where they 'wed' (meet) Adorning a headpiece, as if in the wind! I watch...... - Bower Kop So my answer is Mooiplaas get-out point |

Spotted Cat I'm sorry it's not Mooiplaas.
Remember most of the clues are cyptic. If you can work out the whole thing about the coucal(but remember..it's not what it seems The area you are in is not far off |

This woman is mad, Spotted Cat! She's making it up as she goes!
I think our attempts were very clever! (Just kidding, Rose! Let's try again... RosemaryH wrote I came about in very hard times Centuries ago, but I proudly still stand. Iron Age I would certainly be ill, if my goal post, I lost! Erfplaas Windmill?! You learn, and you see as you follow the lines, And eventually you might see what I see in this land. Educational trail?! I do see the coucal, but it's not as it seems! Coppery-tailed Coucal (Copper from Phalaborwa?!) otherwise Reënvoêl Dam! (This is Afrikaans for Coucal) And the insect, as well, that runs off to be wed. Adorning a head piece, as if in the wind! (F#$%@ knows!) I watch, as they welcome the hot and the tired Who don't visit me, but them instead. The waterholes /Sable Dam?! If you have stopped here, you have got it pinned. Richprins you are the mad woman's hero!!! Well Done
I came about in very hard times Centuries ago, but I proudly still stand. Iron Age 10/10. The 16th century to be exact and still there to be seen. I would certainly be ill, if my goal post, I lost! Erfplaas Windmill?! Eish...now this one. I did tell you that you will kick me into touch when you got this. I tried to get you thinking rugby. This was to let you know it was a hill and if I lost my goal post which was the H I would be ill You learn, and you see as you follow the lines, And eventually you might see what I see in this land. Educational trail?! Yip and as you follow the paths walking around you learn about the very hard times and if you were the hill you would see... I do see the coucal, but it's not as it seems! Coppery-tailed Coucal (Copper from Phalaborwa?!) otherwise Reënvoêl Dam! (This is Afrikaans for Coucal) That's the dam. Like the bit about the copper BTW And the insect, as well, that runs off to be wed. Adorning a head piece, as if in the wind! (F#$%@ knows!) No, now I've never heard of that insect will check it out And the rest you've got!!! I watch, as they welcome the hot and the tired Who don't visit me, but them instead. The waterholes /Sable Dam?! If you have stopped here, you have got it pinned.
The Dutch mother: Ma Sirheni: Sorini Thought you would get this one. Answer: Masorini Picnic Spot?!
Yes indeed Masorini Hill Picnic Spot I am truly impressed Richprins Well Done |

Richprins you're just as mad
Now I'll plonk myself down and have something cold to drink. Exhausted after running around in circles chasing my own tail, completely missing the trail |

The wealthy royal and the leopard so blue
I am positively mad but so are you!! I know how to kick and it will hurt, it is true. As you are witty and think you are quick I'll have you both thinking when I've made my next pick!!!! The two of you are not very well in the head. RP be nice, take SC's advice I visit your town very often, and as you always say..."Only joking" Thanks for the laughs!!!! |

Ok here's an easy one just to ease you back into things after RP & SC took a mid-term break with all their clowning around
PL You take a quick detour to perhaps have a drink. Then you back on the road, or at least that's what you think! OH NO!!! There are goal posts, but what is the score? Is it 1-2 to the home team or simply 12 all? If you see one of the five drink from a hole And a small head, that shares a name, I am told, With dam and a resting place and a memory they all hold. Now I don't think you need anymore for by now you should know that you chose the right score. It's your next stop that's crucial, of that I am sure. For Paul and the gate and the statue that's tall All have an aliment for which you hold the cure! |
