Remember most of the clues are cyptic.

If you can work out the whole thing about the coucal(but remember..it's not what it seems ) and the insect that runs off to wed, together with it's head piece of course, it will lead you to the spot. I promise!! Once you've got that and if you can figure out the extra little clue I added in a reply to Richprins (about the mom's favourite camp) earlier, it will confirm the spot. Look at the map while trying to solve this one.

No, now I've never heard of that insect will check it out ....it's an Ant that runs off to be wed = elopes = Antelope with horns that curve back. Sable Antelope (Yes as you said Sable Dam)
