I believe Addo Elephant National Park was proclaimed on this day 81 years ago. Happy Birthday you have grown from a small park to one of South Africa's greatest parks. Every time I visit you, I come away relaxed and eager to visit you again. From those days in the past when we drove around the fence and climbed those mounds looking for elephants to today when many times I have been surounded by elephants every visit has been great.
