Hehehe...I have a few shots that I've kept "for my eyes only". But you know, when you think that yours are the best, you must be certain that there will be hundreds that are even better.

Luck is also playing a big part. My son and his girlfriend went to the Addo a few weeks ago, for the first time. They saw in one afternoon... lions, buffalo and rhino's.

Hi WarthogB - well I checked the rules and it does not prohibit honorary rangers from participating  and those shots are way too close. What KA-TA-GA-RI are you entering for :)

 Hi Luisslang thanks for info but the photo has nothing to do with being an HR , I adjusted the contrast and that is against the rules. The competition is open to SanParks staff as well.
Too close :D hell he almost fogged up my lens :) , only joking luisslang, telephoto lenses can be great at times but yes he was only a car and a half width from me. :D
Have a great day :D

Adjusting exposure and contrast is allowed, as is noise reduction, sharpening and cropping....
according to the rules the above will not be considered digital manipulation.
