What a fantastic camera

Love the images, very sharp isn't this useful for the mobile cam project?

Yesterday the field rangers went past the camera and advised me that there was tracks of a huge male lion which walked past the camera, the field rangers now want me to go and get the pictures as they want to see what went on. Unfortunately the cam will have to stay at Kij Kij for another two nights before I will download the pictures.

The trap cam will not be able to be used for the mobile cam as it is triggered by any movement and it would take pictures the whole time of road, we will see if this is a success we might invest in more cams.

Hoping to see some stunning pictures

A guest just emailed me the following picture; the quality is not that good as the picture was taken through a closed window. You can clearly see the makeshift termite mount and the lion walking right in front of it.

Now it is just to go and get the SD card and download the pictures

and hope the camera worked

Fantastic - should get some nice closeups !!

Yesterday I went to get the camera from Kij Kij, there was 1185 pictures taken (remember that any movement trigger the camera to take a picture) plenty of jackal and doves but then some nice surprises as well.
