We also dropped off two big bags of clothes on May 2nd with the receptionist at your office.
Am sure they got put to good use. Great trip and will be back.

I am going to KTP from Cape Town Wed 30 (but via Pretoria and Mapungubwe) so will only be in KTP Monday 11 June, but could take a couple of small bags if any CT forumites have anything to go up?

To all Cape Town Mites who will be going up to Kgalagadi in the near future....

I have 8 1/3 filled black bags of Winter goodies (Duvets, Comforters, Bedding, Jackets, Jerseys, etc.) to be taken up for the drive and given to Kgalagadi Guru at Twee Rivieren.

I stay near the N7, which is the 'Route to KTP' and am willing to ensure the goodies get there by either:-

- meeting the Mite en route, or
- the Mite can pick the bags up at their convenience at my residence, or
- I will deliver the bags to the Mite......

Thanks so much to you and the other generous mites who assist with the Clothing Drive, we went out yesterday again to hand out the clothes we have received the last month or so. It was surely heart-warming to see how appreciative the people are who receives it.

I will download some pictures and then post it again.

I still have 4 1/3 filled bags left so the next Mite going up must please contact me if they have some space to squeeze them in as far as Twee Rivieren. Maybe you want come and fetch them....

I have some Good News and some Bad News

The Bad News is that boerinbeton will not be able to deliver the 4 bags..........

The Good News is that doedsie has agreed to take the whole lot up...............

Morning All,

Just an update, we have received a large number of Duvets etc from a very generous mite which will surely make the cold nights more comfortable for the recipients.

These goodies will be handed out on the coming Saturday, I will take pics and post them as soon as possible.

On Sunday we went out again to make a few people happy by handing out Blankets, Duvets (Thanks Glyn) and clothes in Welkom. The picture quality isnt that good but at least you get the idea.
