There is a lot of cross-axle damage on the route - needs to be prepared. The right thing to do really is to repair damage to the dunes after each ride - standard 4x4'ing practice but not very practical in the scenario we were in.

Just please remember to do repairs on the other side of the dunes too. The upcoming October trip will be from TR to Nossob and three birds and a barman will be assessing your work.

Just remember the Barman is not going to be the only Muskateer with the 3 birds, and I shall be in contact with my allies.
There is, as far as I know a lot of dangers lurking in the bush, so a price to be paid for the protection of the 3 Birds. ![]() |

The S-N inclines have a lot of damage - more than the N-S. Makes for a very rocky ride - and guess what no Isuzu leaf springs broke. On the contrary...

Some of the guys will find this view familiar.
![]() But then WKK, who uses Leave springs anymore. Aunti Deebee, I will do Bertha with a beer in one hand, without spilling, at slow speed, still taking pics. Although I have a Jeep now. ![]() |

Kgalagadi Guru wrote MODS... Can we please move the Nossob 4x4 trail feedback on the Arid Parks forum it would just be easier to have it on one forum as to have to jump around?. Thanks. Jannie, we put a shadow topic here in Arid Parks for you now it's easily accessible from both forums. I think some birds should go on the clean up expedition just to keep an eye on WeskusKlong and Switchback, just to make sure they have skills and a recovery vehicle handy. Come to think of it, I recon they just want another go at Big Bertha while no one is watching. ![]() Scipio wrote Aunti Deebee, I will do Bertha with a beer in one hand, without spilling, at slow speed, still taking pics. Yah sure, with your bird behind the wheel you would. |

JenB, that is a scary thought.
That bird of mine just loves the rumble of the big V8 going up an incline. ![]() |
