Hi All,
Just suggesting it would be a good idea if we can have an alphabetic list of Afrikaans words & slang words that are regularly used in the forum translated to english. (similar to the abbreviations & acronyms topic) e.g. what a koppie is, what wildtuin means..etc What you think mods? Cheers, Ash |

slang terms used when im in the park
"voetsek" meaning get away to the baboons that want to raid the food. this biltong is "lekker" "Howzit bru/sussie", a greeting "eish", a frustration like when the heat of kruger gets to you "thats 1 moer of an elephant", meaning its very big just thought i'd share |
