Hi Forumites

I have searched everywhere, even online and on the publisher's webpage, for a copy of 'Exploring Kruger" by Barber and Berger. Does anyone know where i could get a copy, new or used? my parents have a copy and i really would like my own.

thanks

I know the feeling of looking every where for this book all to well :wall:

Ironically I found my copy almost a year ago at Afsaal, They had quite a few copies as well. So maybe keep an eye out for it when you are in Kruger again

Hi ww29.

I also looked everywhere for this book and even phoned the publishers to no avail. I did found my copy about two years ago at Afsaal picnic spot. Ever since then I saw a number of these books in the shops in the Kruger.

This is a real must have for every person visiting the Kruger. There are a lot of nice informative bits of information in the book.

Hope you find a copy. :D

Leeukos,

In 2009 we visited Kruger for the first time and then spent a night at the Swadini Forever resort on the Blydepoortdam. I came across this book in the shop at this resort and immediatly bought it - I agree, a must have!

4th trip to Kruger in Dec'12.

There seem to be different versions of this book doing the rounds.
I bought one, that just seems to have general info on the main mammal and bird species etc. A bit on eco zones.

A friend of mine that suggests which roads to take around the different camps etc. This is the version I would go for.

yoda, during our visit in Dec'12, there were selling the abbreviated version for next to nothing, hence usedtohe opportunity to buy a few as gifts for friends back home which they all loved. There were also old chapbooks with colouring in pages, which we also took advantage of. But I agree that the book is worth having.
