At the end of the article on the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the April 2012 edition of Getaway they mention that Gus Mills will be releasing a guide to the KTP mid-2012. Can anyone provide more detail? Who will the publisher be? Is there a better indication of the publication date? Can't wait for it to be available!

As far as I know, there's been an unexpected delay because the publisher it was with closed down that division so Gus had to find another publisher. He has now done so, but it's a slow process so we're going to have to be patient.

Thanks for the update!! Great to see that the book is still going ahead. I have Dr Mills' 1989 "Guide to the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park". That is a great book, so I can't wait for the new release. Does anyone know who the publisher will be of the new book?

I cannot find any indication on the Internet whether this publication is still going ahead Elmar, but I found used copies for sale on "Amazon.com" from overseas sellers. Also have a look at ISBNS.GS.

Thanks for your response, Hilda. I think the book you are picking up online is the old Guide to the Kalahari Gemsbok. There was talk that Dr Mills would publish a new book on the Kgalagadi, but it has been so quiet. I hope it still goes ahead. He has a wealth of knowledge on the park.
