With time travel we can go back to KNP in the 50's to check what it was like and take some decent photo's to post :).

Who will be dressing in longs ... and the ladies, in long skirts, boots and so on  In temps of 45 plus degrees. Wonder if we will cause a stir arriving in cammies and shorts and slops :hmz:
Edit:- with would have been a fair bit pre 1950s that they wore longs and ladies in boots.

I have both copies of these calendars. And your post makes me want to share something here with you guys GM.

There is a pic taken way back when with a group of Ooooold cars and some people standing on the roof of one of the cars. All tourists out of their cars, looking into the distance obviously to try and spot something in the bush.

I was recently at a talk by Glenn Phillips (Managing Executive: Tourism Development and Marketing) and he was giving a bit of history of KNP ... and that pic came up on the presentation. His words: "nothing has changed" referring to the people out of their cars in KNP way back then already
