I work for myself at the moment but was a Highschool Teacher for a couple of years, resigned, worked in a Pet Shop for a year and a half and then worked in the printing industry as Proofreader-Translator-Copywriter (Still part-time). So pick and choose!

I don't work, I am a civil servant, "working" as a civilian at the Ministry of Defense (against what?).

The job is very exciting.
I publish laws and regulations that mainly have to do with our pay, retirement pay, health and such. Of course some laws about transporting and stocking munitions and other dangerous goods is included, some about traditions (flags, medals and the like), some about secrecy and what have you all?
Are you completely bored? OK, I won't continue.

If you need another dose: Click here (not for sane people), that is my work-website.

I am also the webmaster of some other sites, but they are intranet ones, so no examples to be given. They are more interesting though.

That is.........

euhh..

........ only a bit more interesting.

I'm a student @ Wits - doing my honours in Actuarial Science. When I eventually qualify as an actuary (after lengthy board exams), I will be able to assess & quantify financial risk among other things. Here's an idea - pls let me be employed by SANParks (to work in KNP), and I'll assess the financial consequences of environmental risk management in Kruger, do a few projections & spend the rest of my day enjoying the peace in Kruger

I'm an accountant, currently working for a large firm of insurance brokers but, hopefully, moving on to something new within the next couple of months. I started off in accountancy when I left school but gave it up after a few years to work for 15 years in aviation, mostly as a technical author, before returning to number-crunching 10 years ago.

The best bit of the job is that it pays for my expensive holidays

Manager of a billing team in a VERY large telecoms company. Very, very dull.
Our IT department block internet forums, which are classified as "chat". Also log internet usage and report on individuals whose use is considered "excessive", so no webcam during the day either.

Never mind: 2 more days and I'm off to the real thing. Might not even come back........

I work with horses, mainly racehorses on stud farms.(most of you know that already) We bred them after they have finished racing, raise the youngsters until they are around 18 months of age, make them look pretty and sell them (hopefully for a fortune) to owners and trainers.
I am about to start on a new farm in Australia and my title is Pre and Post Foaling Manager. Basically it means I take care of the mares that are close to foaling (pretty much were Meg is right now), deliever the foals, and take care of the little one until they are ten days. My job has moments when it is boring, but then has really great moments and can be very rewarding.

I am a corporate trainer with a large credit bureau, training our clients and staff on systems, products and processes. I also enjoy the internet access and usually am able to disguise it as "research".

My better half, Tula Manzi, is a driving instructor - so lots of patience there.

Hi All

I am now Financial manager of the Casino in Polokwane (part of Sun International Group).

Transferred from Cape Town's casino (project accountant).

Qualified chartered accountant ( did articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Thus in a nutshell - another boring accountant.
