Morning all! Tea and ginger bics in the caravan again. Shock to the system to need to pull a sleeping bag over me early this morning, and to be back in sweatshirt and track pants to start the day! Temperature 6C in the caravan at the moment......It was 30C yesterday evening!

Good morning everyone and thanks for the tea and rusks!

Lots of discussion yesterday about clivias....... in this area they have passed their best and are gradually fading away. Have banks of orange ones here that are looking a little sad as the flowers die off. Yellow ones are also quite popular in this complex but haven't seen any of those fancy ones........and at R1000 each don't think there will be many around here anyway! Most people with clivias are busy spraying them now before the rains start to prevent (...at least, try to) Lily Borer which loves clivias and is very destructive. Guess what is on today's agenda? :(

Have a good day all!

A good morning and a great new week everyone.

It's really hot already. On days like these I enjoy my cool house.

Lovely to watch your sparrows building their nest Hugh. This year for the first time we've had weavers nesting in our fever tree and it's so nice to watch them. Only sad thing is we've had 3 babies that have fallen from the nest and died. One was tiny, it must have just hatched but the other two were little fledglings. The last one looked like the nest had been ripped in half and torn from the tree as it was also down on the ground.
