Sjeez... Then I had to bath them Pam!
Zina is a lovely shade of blue black and Dudley is an even shade of baby blue all over. While I was drying her I could not make out where all the blue marks on my shirt came from, it was the chalk stuck to the inside of her ears.
I wanted to do something to them!

They just got confused & thought they had the laundry blue -- whites whiter



But they luurve you & want you to blend in with them .......


What can you do ? Just laugh & to the man who left it where the hounds could find it .....

We better not go to the where-the-hounds-could-find-it part, it was in his workshop where the hounds are not supposed to go!

Hilarious JenB! So typical from the four-legged kids! Makes me think of my little dog-girl whom we found inside the antrasite bag in the wendy house a few winters ago. "Someone" (I dare not use any names here), left the door open, and she loves to chew on antrasite! Point is, it was also shortly after she had a bath, and she hates a hair drier, but that's the only way in winter. Fortunately we found her inside the bag, before she could enter the house.

You've long understood puppy wolrl, now comes Basset world. Desi, and she is only cross Basset, ate my best pair of specs, just because they were there they seem to be untrainable and incorrigible.

What have we got ourselves into

That's the point MM! I have not gotten myself into anything, my kids did, it's THEIR bassets!
It does not matter how independent my kids are as soon as their dogs become impossible at home they drop them off here saying "Ma, he misses you!"

That's why I've decided to move Fred in permanently and he's responded well and has become a good little boy (bassetly speaking ) but Dudley is a terror!
