Gates of the Kruger I want to enter but unfortunately I'm in Pretoria

Tshwane is about 45 minutes away from where I am now...cubed in by 4 office walls ...but dreaming of the Kruger Park. Counting down to December as we are packing the parents to spoil them with a nice stay in beautiful Shimuwini!

Shimuwini is a camp we have yet to vist.

Visit the Park at any time of the year and you never know what you will find round the next corner

Corner too sharply and you will overturn

Overturn the myth that you will only see leopard either early morning or late afternoon, as our very best sightings have often been in the middle of the day - winter or summer

Summer is the time that I prefer going to the Kruger as it is quieter then because it is too hot for some people

(A) people person you have to be to work in reception in a camp

camp food is usually a braai

braai, a glass of wine and a Kruger sunset ........... heaven on earth

Earth - soil and small stones - gets under the soles of your feet if you wear opentoed shoes when camping

Camping is in, lodging is out!

Out of this world camping kos is having PnP boiled spinach in a bag with roasted butternut in foil and rump steak on the braai.......yumm accompanied with an Ina Paarmans Pepper or Mushroom sauce! Beat that... :-)

That is making me hungry.........
