Hi bert,
I've been using them for over a year and must say they work brilliantly. I have two Luxman X6 and they are superb when you have to fill in or need continuous light. They come with dimmers and provide 6000 K lighting. Excellent for Macro/Micro photography. http://www.luxmen.tw/X6x76.html |

I've used them for an all'night photography session and only noticed a drop after three hours continuous full power use. It really all depends on what quality batteries you use but I'd say they're brilliant under all aspects as you rarely keep them always on and can regulate the output as you like.
