This tinyphant was itching to jump in the mud with his cousins. Needless to say once in he needed a bit of help to get out. Just lovely the way they help each other.

We still marvel at the gentleness of these killing machines when they are with their brothers

These four are a well known pride who have killed off the old guard and now are a dominant pride.

Still I have to admit to a tear in the old eye as we rounded the boulder and laid eyes on these four majestic brothers.

Hi Everyone

Well I am back checking on the forums again, have been pretty busy dealing with all those things that happen as we go along in our lives.

But in the back of my mind I have waiting for the chance to get back to the end of my report to say thank you to everyone.

So to Val, Elsa, Hilda, Meandering Mouse, Barryels, Cape of Storms, Sharifa, Digby, Cindy, Melph, Pumbaa and everyone else who has commented on our trip, thank you so much for your kind words and encouraging comments.

It has been a pleasure to share with people who have the same love of Kruger and such a joy to know there are so many people who feel this way.

Plus of course we get the thrill of re visiting all the special moments ourselves, and hopefully remain a little fulfilled till we get to return again. I found myself at an airport a few days ago and my mind was acting quite odd..... .... all I could think about was that I wished it was JHB and we were heading out to the rental office to grab our car and head off to Kruger, feeling that indescribable thrill that we can no longer get from going anywhere else.
