Great images,love the Heron with the bonus catch , the close up of the water Thick-knee and the Spider

We always stay just outside Paul Kruger Gate in Sabie Park and LP is always on our afternoon trip.

Yip, Leeukos something always happen at LP you must just sit and wait and wait... and when something happen the finger must be on the camera...

The Hippo's charging must have been a breathtaking experience !!!!

African Darter

African Darter famous place to eat and dries its outspread wings in the sun after swimming is the perch at LP.
They swim with the body submerged only part of the neck and head visible.

How they get the big Kurpers down there thin neck is amazing!!

Swimming with only their head and neck above the water earned the darter the Afrikaans name "Slanghalsvoël" ([i]Snake neck bird)

Awesome photos everyone!

Visited Kruger for the first time in August 2010 and Lake Panic was one of my favorite spots in the park.
Can't wait to visit the place again in three months! :dance:
