Tx for viewing and the comments
The Pied Kingfishers are always active. They often hunts by hovering over the water before diving and use a perch to eat their catch. ![]() ![]() Sometimes the Hippo's give a show. The light was not great but the Kiss made up for a special moment at LP ![]() |

One other bird always at LP is the Green-backed Heron.Prefers dense vegetation near water and breeds low down in trees. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I wish I had a 600mm Another resident is the Reed Cormorant. This one pose on a early cold morning with the sun rising for the perfect back lighting ![]() Often sits with out spread wings in the sun to dry and LP have a perfect perch. ![]() ![]() |
