I received this Via mail so I do not no if this could be real can anyone else confirm this?

Below is what I received with in the mail.

Picture taken in the Kruger National Park near the Phalaborwa gate by one of
our Komatsu rangers in the Phalaborwa branch.

The animal in it 's jaws is a full-grown Warthog, from this it can be deduced
that the croc is over a meter in height and MANY meters long.

The size looks perfectly possible - would it be from Sable Dam?

There was a huge discussion about this picture when it was on FB. Apparently this is a very old picture (surfaced something like 10 years ago) and the vegetation is also not Phalaborwa/Letaba area. If I remember correctly someone said it was taken near Sunset Dam. There hasn't been a crocodile in the Phalaborwa area for very long either, according to those discussions. However the size (1m high) is apparently quite possible for some of these crocs. Also you can see water dripping from it still, and there are no dams near the tarr road to Phalaborwa gate where that could be possible.

This photo was posted on Kruger sightings last week!
Maybe it is digitally altered!

I think it is a normal photo. We have all seen monster crocs at Sunset dam. Many of those crocs could look like this when you are parked off road next to the dam taking the pic towards the road

The size is not extreme actually for a croc:
The Nile crocodile is the largest crocodilian in Africa and is sometimes regarded as the second-largest crocodilian after the saltwater crocodile. The male crocodile usually measure from 3.5 to 5 metres (11 to 16 ft) long, but very old, mature ones can grow to 5.5 m (18 ft) or more.

I have no idea, but this photo has been doing the rounds, being called a Saltie and a Florida croc as well.

Maybe this can confirm that the pic in question was taken at Sunset Dam and was not altered in any way and that there is a crocodile that is very old and if it cros the road it does stands 1m high.
