What is your best road in the park ?

For me its the H4-1 Skukuza to Lower Sabie , never dissapoints

For me its the gravel roads around Shingwedzi .

Have always been lucky on Doitspan Road (Phabeni gate road).
Used to be Skukuza to Lower Sabie Road but has become too overgrown and haven't been too lucky there lately.

For me from a great sightings point of view it is Salitje (S30) S39 & H3.
From a gorgeous road perspective it's the S3...But have NEVER seen alot on this rd

The Skukuza- Lower Sabie tar road is busy no doubt but its known for the big 5 , to find rhino can be tricky though . With more eyes looking for game you sure to get something on this road.

I tried this one time I was at the park . I drove on this road from Skuks to LS . I saw elephant and Buff from the big animals . I turned around and when the same way back .

I saw lion , elephant and hyena

I turned around and went back , I saw leopards , buffalo and cheetah

I turned around and went back and saw another leopard and rhino

I didnt do any other roads and got my big 5 , persistence can be the key on this road

I personally would rather enjoy hours looking intensely for game on a quieter road rather than to have to be surrounded by other cars.

The only reason for me to drive that road is to get my share of Buff Pasties from Wack! :thumbs_up:

Agree with you Zeeman, the H4-1 is good! Another good road is the H3 from Malelane. We have seen everything on that road, wild dogs as well. :thumbs_up:
