This one is natural and I only noticed the eye's when I got back home and was sorting them all out! Not taken in KNP but one of my favourites

DQ And RUMURUTI, you just proved a point. Great pics, but I do love some of the edited stuff. Thats why Sprocks is going to teach me this weekend.

Here is an old attempt of mine at some real post processing. It is not very well done as I did this a long time back when I just started with PhotoShop. Try and figure out what has been done here, for the trained eye it will not be very difficult.

Not too bad at all for a first-time photoshop attempt. So, if this was done a while back, what can you do now?

Photography (and the photos) is there for you to enjoy. So if cloning out a twig, or manipulating the image improves the shot and makes it more pleasing for you, then why not? It's your work anyway.

If you have entered an image into a competition and the rules clearly state no manipulation, then that is a different story.

Evening all, pulled out a picture on which I absolutely had to "work" on.
This is the original shot


and this is the retouched one

Had 10 minutes to fix it and email it for printing.

Where is the limit on tampering with your pictures and the difference between doing it for business and for fun.
This was a graphics work done for a travel brochure and it's composed of 11 different pictures. Used every possible filter and trick in Photoshop to get it together and printed came out perfect!

Was able to get this photo of a Hyaena hugging its pup, up Shing way.

Now because of the tar road it becomes a "useless" photo but to me it is a very interesting behaviour photo.

To keep this for my records what are your thoughts on cloning out the road and tyre marks just above the Hyaena's head?

Great picture showing the behaviour, never seen something like it but i dont think that cloning is worth while, i would leave the picture as is its unique

I think we've concluded that, if you are going to keep the photo for yourself and show it off between your mates, cloning is ok. I already expressed that I am a bit against it, but that's just me.

Cloning such a big piece of the picture will take some time and doing though, as you would need to keep the lighting consistent.
