I will braai you a fillet my way and it will be the softest piece of meat you have eaten. No, it is not done at low heat, I do it in the hottest part of the fire, ask Scipio.

And thats no lie, & the taste, well, I tried to steal the whole fillet for myself.

If cooking on a braai isn't completely different from cooking any other way, that is the only way to cook filet.

My SO's dad think i'm nuts. Rain, snow , hail i will find a reason to braai. Wood is the only and best way to go. will use charcoal if i'm forced. No braai can be done in a hurry, braai is like fishing, patience must be used.
question for all. What is a balanced braaier "the person doing the braai".
Me standing with the braai tongsels in one hand and a cold one in the other hand.

I agree, and sitting patiently and watching your creation (the fire) 'grow' is half the fun.
