Announcement

Minimeet at Satararestcamp at september 4
Gathering for a drink at the terrace near the restaurant at 18.30.

I know
- Chickadee (Satara)
- AtlantaJoe (Satara)
- richardharris (Satara)
- aboon (Satara)
are in this camp and want to join, but maybe there are also other mites in Satara who want to join us for a drink too and maybe some dinner afterwards.

Agnes -- do hope our paths cross. We are in KNP from 27th -- 4th but fly home on 4th :cry:

It is a pity Pooky that we can't meet again this time

It was great BB, thanks for asking. Aboon (Agnes) and her hubby, Chickadee, Richardharris and yours truly met on the veranda at Satara for a few adult beverages. It was nice swapping our days sightings and the YR's we had seen on the trip. What a nice bunch of folks!
Chickadee had to leave to meet her sister and their SO's for dinner, then the remaining 4 of us had the buffet in the restaurant. It was the only time on my trip that I had dinner in a camp restaurant, and it was pretty good. I found out that I like kudu!
Just before we were done, Aboon's SO excuses himself from the table and when he returns we find out that he had paid for the whole evening!
A really nice little meet!

Chickadee took a picture of the gang. I'll ask her to post it when she gets back from KNP. Just remember that the camera adds 10 pounds to how you really look. I may have had 2 or 3 cameras on me when that pic was taken.
