Can't find the information on the Wilderness site, but can anyone tell me what partially equipped kitchen means (is it a plate and a cup for eg) and do you have a braai like in Tsitsikamma with the forest huts or do I have to take my own one.
Thanks

Jonkers,
Wilderness NP supplies all chalets, rondawels etc with a braai and grid. So no worries about that one. If however you were camping, you would have to hire a braai from reception or bring your own portable little braai

The kitchen supplies provided in the chalets/ forest cabins is typical of what you would normally find in a SanParks chalet. So if you are hiring a two sleeper cabin, you would find, 2 x cups, 2 x plates, 2 x knives & forks, a pot, a pan a kettle, etc... the one thing that I am not sure of is the fact that they might have removed the microwave ovens from the chalets... you would have to check this with the park officials.

Hi Jonkers
Just to add to Munchkin's reply...the fridge is outside the forest cabin..on the little balcony. I seem to think that there was a microwave in the cabin( in Nov last year) but as Munchkin has suggested rather check with the park itself. There is a kettle but no two plate burner. There is a communal kitchen area that has two plate burners though. The cabins are small but adequate.
Enjoy
:D

Thank you! I do know the huts in Tsitsikamma and they do have a braai, but someone told me that it was not the case in Wilderness which made me wonder. Visiting huts or camping, we usually take our own burner and pot for that early tea in the morning in pyama! And it was our luck too, as the last 3 times we visited Tstitsikamma they had problems with the power
Once we served all our neighbours warm tea and coffee when it was raining and no power.
