Nice pics, guys!

Funny thing is, once you hear their distinctive call, even the most amateurish attempts by a human to "whistle" a reply can make them come closer!?

There seem to be regular sightings of then in KTP. I took this photo during the first week of April this year (2008) in Mata Mata camp. It was sitting in the famous dry tree in the corner of the camp.

Thanks Justin. These photo's were taken at Kgaswane NR. These two pearly's were together, sometimes calling at the same time as well. Just love them to bits!!!

 Yeh, I can now do a good Pearly!! And it does work very well, like I found with these 2 little guys. I did a walking trail, did the call a few 100m into the trail, and were surprised to find 2 of them turning up to investigate, Then they seemed to follow me all the way to the hide. There I forgot about them, but once I left and started the trail back, he flew over me again, from a tree outside the hide. Thought this to be strange behaviour??? But it gave opportunity for great photo's --- so I dont complain, I'll anyway be able to watch these little guys for hours. 8)
