1) Not sure exactly what you're looking for here, but lion kills would most likely happen near prey. Okay, seriously, most likely near waterholes as they are patient hunters and wait for prey to come to drink.

2) Lions do sometimes hide themselves under bushes and trees if it's raining hard, but I have often seen them lying in the rain or walking around when it is wet. So, no.

3) Absolutely, lions can swim. They are not always fond of doing so, but they are indeed good swimmers.
