I used to see reedbuck in Kruger regularly until about 10 years ago (and, yes, often in the Muntshe area). Haven't seen another one since. I have also noticed that in the Kruger publications, their numbers are not indicated (e.g. Find It), while almost every other herbivores is! Is this just an oversight, do you think, or have their numbers dropped drastically?

Our last sighting of a Reedbuck was also at Nshawu 5 possibly the same as on the photograph.

It might be the same one GML !! I must say that I am very lucky with Reedbuck sightings! Can recall 5 sightings in the last 2 and a half years.

Our sightings of this antelope has also increased in the past two years…. previously we only had a couple of sightings….now we, for example, see them almost every time we travel on the H10

One of the three reedbucks I spotted in KNP in Dec. 2008. However, I have only one photo what is worth to show you.

We were at Pretoriuskop in August of this year and we saw reedbuck on two occasions. I have been going to Kruger for many years and this was the first time that I saw reedbuck. I cant imagine that there are many of them in the park.

Good sighting Crested Barbet and also a good photograph.
During my research for my history postings I have recently been in contact with Scientistsin the KNP and they have confirmed that there aren't many and that they are very susceptable to predation.
I have over 42 years only sighted 2, both in the reedbeds of Shawu - most probably the same one on different occasions.

I have spotted 2 reedbuck this past year. Both were males. One on the H10 and surprisingly one on the S90 about 2km north of the S41 T junction.

UNBELIEVABLE, SW!! Magnificent indeed, especially that fantastic cheetah kill ... live! ... do you visit Kruger every month?

I wish I could visit the Kruger once a year but it’s not quite possible. We go there about two times a year average…
