2. This nose is quite famous in the domestic barn. In the wild, it is used to sniff around in dirt and search for short grasses. It is often found covered in mud when this animal gets carried away.

It is true.

I have asked the ranger about this on Metsi-Metsi, just to be sure. :D

They are only found in the extreme northern districts of Kruger, where the habitat is dry enough for them and will support their prey, which is mainly termites and insects. Some think they are mainly found in neighboring parks and venture into Kruger occasionally. There have been rare reports that stretch as far down as Shingwedzi. They prefer the desolation and habitat of the extreme north and have been sighted on the Nyalaland trail.
