I was thinking about this in a previous thread, dont know whether someone already discussed this, but the mods wil sort me out

On this forum people discuss varios roads on a daily basis...

If for instance a magazine did a article on Kruger and they were busy interviewing you, what would you say to them is the Top 5 famous kruger drives?

Remember, think about wildlife, scenic, good condition, popularity

In no particular order mine would be:

S25
S100
H1-4
H4-1
S44 (Letaba-Olifants)

So many roads and I can only choose 5  .

In no particular order of preferrence:

S100
S41 (Saw Cheetah once on this road)
S65
S21 (only travelled it twice but I saw Rhino and Leopard on it the last time.)
S30 Salitjie Road.

Of all the roads outside of KNP, I love the N12 - N4 east. Wonder why?

Good thread!!

Top 5 for us:

S106, Rabelais loop

H7 Orpen to Satara

S89, Ngotso Weir road

S114, Biyamiti Weir to H1-1

H4-1... busy though

Very hard decision though... Very close: Maroela loop and S130 loop near Croc Bridge!

My top 5 roads are;
1. S100. The months I go to Kruger this road is relatively quiet.
i.e. Late November and late January. Always some interesting sighting.
2. S41. A very productive road for general game and predators.
3. S90. In summer this is a very quiet stretch for other vehicles but I have had many memorable sightings of elephant, lion, cheetah, bird flocks, and even white rhino .
4. H10. Muntshe hill and Nkumbe lookout. Breathtaking views.
5. S63. Stunning vegetation / trees along Levuvhu river.
I cannot wait for my next trip. :D

Here's my attempt.

Considering I never been above the Olifants this is a bit biased but anyway. :?
1) S65 (Great scenery with sightings to match)
2) S28 (Always been kind to me. Best road in the park for white rhino and have seen Duke twice along this road)
3) H10 (Great views and plenty of game in the area. A bit of a hit or miss road though)
4) H4-1 (Purely because i've seen 5 leopards in my last two visits to Kruger along this road.)
5) S114 (especially Biyimiti wier area)

Spending alot of time in the Satara area in two weeks so this might change!!!
