Accommodation Exchange

Unread postby SANParks » Tue May 13, 2008 8:41 am

In an attempt to assist needy members who have booked accommodation, but due to circumstances cannot make use of the booking, we decided to start this thread where you can give details of the booking available.

Please note:

- The accommodation is to be sold for the price it was booked - no money should be generated from the exchange.
- The details are posted here, but the correspondence should happen via PM. As soon as the subject is closed (accommodation sold, or date expired), the poster needs to notify a Moderator, who will then remove the post.
- Please do not abuse this system. If you resort to it often, your posts will be removed, and in severe cases, your account may be banned.

Hope you find this facility helpful.

Thank you, Sanparks.

I hope people will make use of it, and give someone else a change to sleep some nights in other camps if there was no more space available.
Good interaction will be neccesary though.

Great news! I recently sold my Father's accommodation at Pretoriuskop to a forum member and it went very smoothly. My dad would have lost his entire amount paid if he had cancelled the booking. It was as simple as arranging the payment and then contacting reservations to alter the name the booking is made in.

HI all, we are going to the Kruger park end of June 2015. We have 3 nights at Satara in the Guest Cottage (GC5) for 23, 24 and 25 June where after we will be heading to stay just outside the park for another couple of nights. My parents just bought an offroad caravan and we are thinking of trying it out for those 3 nights at Satara (Camping experience a bit rusted as we stayed in safari tents and chalets since the kids was born). Will there be anybody interested in taking over the 3 nights in the Guest Cottages should we decide to go camping - guest cottages fully booked for 23 and 25 june (There is still camping sites available for those 3 nights therefore that we are considering it and would like to give members from this page first option before we change the booking)

Hi Guys,

Okay so I am a newbie with a big craving to go to the Kruger, to my very big disappointment all the camp sites have been booked during the time we can visit the Park, 28 June 2015 - 4 July 2015. We would like to camp with our own tents and the whole toot.

I know this is a long shot, but its worth a try. I would like to ask if anyone has booked camp sites for the following dates, 28 June 2015 - 4 July 2015, or know of someone who has booked, but unfortunately can't go anymore or have to cancel. Would you please let me know.

This is the only time we can go this year, otherwise we will have to postpone till next year. And that is still a very long stretch.

Thanks alot, really appreciate it.

Hi All
I am desperate. Travelling all the way from Durban and can only get accommodation for 6 nights from the 26th May (2015) to the 1st June. Really wanted to spend at least 10 days in the park. Our last camp is Mabua 03, looking for accommodation either in the area or within a day drive (6 - 8hrs) from Mabua.
Most Ideal option would be Nossob or Polentswa on the 1st June, and any suggestions or options for a further 4 or 5 nights from there would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing back from anyone.
Thanks
Rob
