A favourite memory of mine is having a drink with my grandmother at the END of the road, (which I know is a lookout, Bert ) on my birthday!

A worse memory is witnessing a "difference of opinion" there between two of my mates as a student in 1988, which led to the one mate being stranded there for a while until I could convince the driver to return!

Geez you still a mere baby!

A little extra titbit taken from "A Dictionary of Kruger Park Place Names".

Hillside: Borehole, 17km north of Lower Sabia, next to the Mlondozi Creek on the western side of the Munthse Hill. .. named by Dr U de V Pienaar, referring to the locality of the borehole (c1980).

Just had to put this in! will be once-off only!

Is it at the bottom of the park, just as you turn on the S25 after entering at Malelane?
Seen these flowers many times but haven't a clue what they are

Yes, Freda, I suppose it's at the "bottom" of the Park!

But you won't see mountains on the S25!

Lovely flowers, can't remember their name.

I was craning my neck and looking back towards Berg-en-dal

S113 and convolvulus???

S1,towards Phabeni Gate.

I would also go with the south,in the region of matjulu - steilberg area.

On the way to Berg n Dahl, and I dont think the flowers are convolvulus, I think they are too pink.

I have seen that flower often, just wish I knew its name
