Other forumites may need to know that the reason yours is on ordinary paper, not the classy matte-finish sugar cane waste product we used, is that you have the bandwidth to easily receive the full electronic version of the magazine, which you must then have printed out yourself.

I'm not sure my bosses like it as much, I still need to work, but am browsing the magazine instead.
The photo of the leopard and baboon in the article about meerkats is stunning! Well, actually I've seen more than a few photos which I would have loved to have made, like Table mountain with table cloth, the ones from Hlane Royal National Park and the gaping lionmouth to name a few.

I sure hope that the international cardholders work together and we'll have an official download or paper version available.

But before people start shouting for the pdf, let me copy and paste something:

I have received my copy over the weekend.

A lot of hard work and probably hours have been put into the mag. Well done boys/girls it is an excellent magazine.

Just one problem, when I opened the plastic cover my S.O took it out of my hands stood at the door of my office smiled and said I love you and off she went with the mag. Later came back showed me some pictures from the door and told me about the articles.

I properly will have to get two magazines one for her and one for me. Can not wait for her to finish reading it.

Yesterday, I started going through the magazine in detail.
Firstly the quality and colouring of the photos is amazing.
Secondly, the layout is interesting and fun.
Thirdly, the chosen articles were informative and well written.
Fourthly, it is appealing for young people because of all the above reasons.
Fifthly, it compares with the best on the market. I even enjoyed the adverts.

Forumites (is that a word?) will be pleased to learn that I have twisted the arm of the new editor of Wild to join the forum.

He calls himself "Justcam" (I suppose that "Wildcam" might have given the idea that he spends hours crouched beside watering holes, though - come to think of it - that IS what he often does) but he is also known as Cameron, is by training a marine biologist, by occupation a journalist of rather more recent vintage than myself, and by inclination a passionate supporter of the Wild Card (and by extension, of the Wild magazine, which he played a significant part in hammering into the pleasing form some of you have already seen).

What's more, while sharing the bouquets will be a bit of a pity, there are now TWO of us to dodge the occasional brickbats, making us tougher targets to hit.

Put your hands together for JUSTCAM!

Thanks for the kind words guys and I look forward to contributing on this forum. While I'm on that note, I would like to encourage all Wild Cardholders to get involved in our new magazine, and website once it is up and running. We look forward to hearing from you; send us your thoughts, things you'd like to see, environmental topics you'd like to see unpacked (er I mean covered ... sorry a friend of mine just completed her MBA and now I can't stop using her lingo) and anything else that catches your fancy.
