Rock hyrax (Procavia capensis)
The tree hyrax, however, has the white hair around the dorsal gland, whereas the rock hyrax has the black hair.

b) Am I nocturnal?
Mostly active during the day, and therefore not nocturnal, but can be found feeding on moonlit nights.

c) List 3 of my predators
Pythons, Leopards and Verreaux's Eagles.

b) Mostly diurnal, but may possibly be active in moonlit evenings.

c) Leopard, cheetah, jackal, caracal, serval or even civet. Less threatening include : eagles, pythons, mongooses and large snakes.

This is a common animal. The male has horns, but the female does not. This animal is mostly diurnal, but sometimes active at night as well. They make a real noise in the mating season, competing for females. It is a grazer and a browser.

Very common in the KNP, and usually found within 8km of water. they are very dependant on water. Open woodland is main habitat

Question Twelve

This is a small, not-so-often seen antelope. It lives in the Berg-en-dal, Pretoriaskop, Skukuza, and Paul Kruger Gate areas. The only thing distinguishing it from another small antelope is its size is slightly larger, and a blacker tail.
