I am interested in particpating in a game capture in the kruger park, if i can remember someone said it costs about R7500. Can anyone advise on any dates for this year and also who would i contact to go ahead and book it. Has anyone here been on a game capture..

This was done in 2005 as a special HR event .. Game Capture Event

And then the was one in August 2006 : Game Capture Event 2006

I have looked on the public events for the HR's and have not seen any one for 2007. Maybe you can contact the HR's or the HR Rep in SANParks to find out more info. Herewith is a contact list for them Contact List

OurPlains Game capture in Kruger National Park June 2007



Date: From the 6th to the 25th of June 2007

6th to the 17th Skukuza (plains game)

18th to the 23rd Satara (Giraffe)

23rd to the 25th Shingwetsi (plains game)



Place: Kruger Park



Areas: Skukuza, Satara and Shingwetsi



Type of capture: Mass capture



Animals to be captured: Plains game



Number of HR’s needed: A maximum of 4 HR’s per day.
