Knob Thorn (Acacia Nigrescens)
This tree is a deciduous tree and is medium to large in size. It is found in the Bushveld areas, mostly on heavy soils. It's trunk is covered in persistent thorns rising from knobs. The flowers are a elongated yellowish colour with white spikes. It's leaves are browsed by most game, especially the elephant and giraffe.
