WAC,

There is also the Field Guide to the Insects of the Kruger National Park by Heike Schutze.

I think you can get more info on www.struik.co.za.

Hi again everyone,

I was thinking... if I got a book on the insects of Kruger or South Africa, it wouldn't include spiders, scorpions, and millipides etc. Is there one that includes those?

No, I don't think they'll all be in one book, I'm sure that there is book only on Spiders & Scorpions of SA, as for millipedes I'm sure they'll be in the Insects version.

You can find all the field guides for Birds, Mammals, Plants, Trees, Insects & Scorpions/Spiders all on www.struik.co.za.

Just to let you know that the Struik "Field Guide to Insects" by Mike Picker, Charles Griffiths and Alan Weaving", is a University text book.
It has therefore gone through the academic scrutiny which often eliminates some less well researched items.
