We have 2 dogs, a Jack Russel and a mixed wirehaired/choose your own breed which we got from SPCA.

Both full of energy and forever ready to play.

The Jack and my son Jordan are inseperable from time Jordan gets home.

And then Daisy who is not as fond of the swimming and water as you can see by the expression after having being persuaded to swim.

Lovely Rotie BB 8) also like the Serval.

Robert, your Daisy reminds me a little of my Chino. He also hates swimming. Chino is a master thief.

A few more uses for a bird feeder.

This used to be my daughter's cat, Tom. He is such a meanderer that we decided to let him move in with me rather than stay close to busy roads.

Okay, now that I know that works (it has been a while since I posted a picture of the forum) I will now introduce you to my equine pets.

Firstly we have Djapana (apparently means Sunset Dreaming) but I call her DJ. She is my first broodmare I purchased 3 years ago. She is nearly 18 years old and is in foal and due end of October.

Image Large

Then 8 months later I decided DJ was lonely so I purchased Loot Scootn Suzie but I call her Suzie which is a much better nickname than what she had which was Poo. Suzie was a bad girl last year and decided she did not want to have a baby this year so she is currently not in foal but we will try again in the next few months.

Image Large

So then Suzie had my first paint foal, this was in September 2011. It was a boy and I named him The Talisman (Tally to his friends). He was sold when he was 8 months old to a wonderful home in South Australia.

Then DJ had her baby (3 weeks overdue) but this little girl was worth waiting for. She was everything I dreamed of when I decided to breed this mare to the stallion. She is my pride and joy but has gone to a new home a few months ago, because unfortunately horses cost money and I can't afford to keep more than two. I named this filly Ipi Tombi (keeping my South African heritage going) but she was nicknamed Bella by the little boy who lived were I kept my horses and that name stuck. Although she is called Bella, when she goes to shows her proper name will be used.

Herewith a pic of a couple of lambs being hand-raised . There mothers are unable to take care of them , so they are being bottle-fed , every four hours .
They can't really be called pets as such , and are rather almost PESTS

This is one of my new arrivals. I went to the vet and as I was passing through to collect something, this little critter started to whine and scratch at her cage. She was recovering from an operation after being picked up starving and hurt in the street.

She seemed to attach so quickly that the vet asked if I would take care of her while they tried to find her owners. Well you know what that means.

She is a sweetie, but her one leg is so damaged that it s useless. Poor little thing, I hate to think of what she went through.

Off for a winter's walk.

Here is my fish tank.
I used to have a 4ft/240L tank, but about a year ago I upgraded to this 5ft/550L.
It looks a bit different now. I don't have most of the fish anymore and will be getting something called Discus in the next few weeks.

Here are some of the Discus I got last week.
They are still only about 1/3 size.
They will colour up a lot more as they get bigger.

There are two dogs over here. They are pets. They are ugly so I wont show you. Then there is another animal. But it isnt a pet. It just arrived here so I guess I am it's pet. How it seems anyway. Very wild at first and ripped the daylights out of the two ugly dogs. Still a bit skittish but hangs aropund me like youknowwhat stuck to a blanket. And my eyes itch something awful.

She rode into town without a name and I had to call her summin. This is Ketat.
