Thanks to Jenny for a lovely and useful donation to Daniel!
Also to the KNP Facebook group, and the VHR's who put it all together.

Jen, I found the following online at Buycycle.co.za. I'm assuming they were mountain bikes that were given to Daniel?

I'd be quite happy to sponsor whichever carrier you deem most appropriate at the end of this month, and all I'll need is an address to deliver it to :)

I have to confess I have no idea! Perhaps someone with more bike knowledge can advise......The photo gives a fairly good idea of the bike itself. At present he has a standard old type metal carrier....the type that had 2 side spring clips or one length-wise clip. Something similar is what is needed - i.e. a platform that he can strap his plastic crate to.

A HUGE :gflower: to all those involved Daniel is so much part of our lives when in that area always love catching up with him and hearing his tales. I hate the thought that it will not be all that long before he retires.

The big question is, why does Daniel still have to travel with a bicycle? Gee whiz, upgrade it to a motorbike or a car!! We are not living in the 1910's so why do people still have to travel by way of a bloomin bicycle. If everyone that visits Kruger donates just R10,00, then we can buy Daniel a nice Land Cruiser.

Whenever I see Daniel with his bike it gives me a very good feeling, it's just one of these things that make Kruger such a special place :) And I'm nt sure if Daniel would like any other transport...

I can't see whether the bike has disc brakes on the back wheel or not, Jen. I know exactly which carrier you're referring to, but nobody makes them anymore :( The ones on the URL I gave you were literally the only ones I could find.
