An little ellie had trouble with his trunk
Out of control, in the water it did dunk!
It swished and it rippled from side to side
And so little ellie cried and cried
But was happiest when his rhythm changed to funk.

Through the massive dunes thirsted the hiker
Rummaging through a bag..all he found was a diaper
Since that was all he had
He'd be scantily clad
Saved him when he sat on a viper
God couldn't be everywhere so he made Grandmas

I love my computer because all my friends are in it
Making sure there is not a break in the circuit
But when Eskom does their shut down
As they often do, the clowns!
Rather move to another town..just don't quit.

Mrs Giraffe curled the leaves around her tongue
from where she stood the view was far flung
Through the trees she saw a Lion approaching
on her space he was encroaching
Reaching up to where the leaves were young

Erkel on his bike has been seen again
I hope he does not become a pain
Meal on wheels?
Then he slipped on banana peels!
After celebrating with champagne

One a dark and stormy night
Baby monkey clung to Mom ever so tight
His little arms around her neck
Poor little thing was a nervous wreck
Mom reassured him it would be alright

A huge fire swept through the dry grass
the buffalo herd ran en masse
But fire can accelerate
and almost caught them on the home staight
But they sprinted away with Olympian class

Through the massive dunes we walked
The water bottle leaked
Drier and drier seemed the sands of white
They forged ahead with only the moonlight
It was so beautiful there, nobody talked!

In the misty moonlight
everything looked black and white
the owl gave a hoot
His mate followed suit
and they tooted far into the night

Around and around penguin waddled
Until he was startled
by seagull flying low
So he flipped and gave a bow
Into the surf he toddled

After the torrential downpour
that ruined Mrs Ellie's decor
disgruntled she gave a loud trumpet
Mr Ellie almost choked on his crumpet
and sprayed melted butter all over the floor

A praying mantis looked from side to side
He was so proud of his beautiful bride
She was small and dainty and oh so cute
and he was wearing a bright green suit
She was the best mate worldwide

The crab was covered in barnacles
from his knobbly knees to his ank(a)les
sea lettuce made a cute headdress
and what was on his feet was anybodies guess
off he ran searching for his spectacles
