It depends on who is driving. If I'm driving, then it is the driver's side, because my husband tends to fall asleep in the passanger seat....

But if he is driving, then it is about a 50/50 (though I must say the majority of the animals I spot from the passanger seat is on the driver's side of the road, :)

The drivers side , because I am the driver :D
Well , lets be honest now, that was the case , I introduced my SO to Krugerparking some 12 years ago, and now I have to admit that she has now become the better spotter. Its a win-win situation :D :D , but the competition is awesome.

If my SO is driving she sees only the road. :wall:

So I drive most of the time

and do most of the game spotting and

she looks at the road!

It’s a rather scary, but surprisingly effective system!

I wonder how many people have ended in bushes... where they look is where they steer. :hmz:

I would say both sides SO and I are vigilant when in the Kruger we dont want to miss a thing :D

If one of us has to open the cooler box well then the driver drops speed so that whoever is driving can look at both sides and the road!

And MM well I can honestly say we dont ever go bundu bashing as if Im driving then my SO always gives brief glances as to where Im driving and if he sees Im heading for trees and bush pulls the wheel and I do the same when hes driving and all in all I would say that everytime were their we see some amazing sights so it works :)

With us it depends on who is driving.

My father has a lot more driving experience so he is more confident in driving and looking around, my brother prefers to pay more attention on the driving then the game spotting. (safety first)

But overall it’s the passenger’s side who spots the most special sightings with us, but saying that considering there are 4 boddies in our car we do have enough pairs of watchful eyes on each side at all time.

There are many reasons for the speed limits in Kruger! :hmz:
,
But I bet there are more 1kh dings and bumps at crowded, frustrating sightings, than from spotting on the move.

I saw 2 jeep jockeys reverse into each other this past December

I find that even with driving, I spot more than the SO on her side.

One trip, I went out by myself for a morning drive, first time I was alone in the car. So I "latched on" to the car in front which had a few people in it, thinking I would just let them do the spotting.
But they drove past loads of stuff.
I was better on my own!
