I'm not sure exactly what TEBA stands for but its the homestead of the manager of the company that used to recruit Mozambicans to work in the mines, plus, I think, the transit camp. SANParks bought the property last year as it is in the boundary of the national park. Also know as the Mockford residence, after the Manager, Harold, who lived there for many years.
Last I heard SANParks hadn't made a decision on what they were going to do with it but I know the previous owners have used it as a base for birding groups for a while. Seems to be a well kept secret.

TEBA is currently empty. The terrain was handed to SANParks but that did not include the furnishings.
SANParks is currently considering the exact future use, and as far as I am aware no decision has been made. But whatever the exact use will be, the historical nature of TEBA will be respected. It is a valuable piece of Kruger and national history.
