Conservation Fees

Unread postby travelbirdie » Sat Mar 09, 2013 1:57 am

How does this work? I assume you pay a conservation fee when you enter the park. But then do you continue to pay it again for each day you stay in Kruger? For a stay of 10 day in Kruger, do you pay the conservation fees in addition to each nights accomodation, or is it included?

You must pay a conservation fee for each day in the park in addition to the accommodation fees. If you are staying for 10 days then a Wildcard would probably work out a bit cheaper.

Sorry - minor highjack but probably useful info for others and better than starting another thread.

If staying outside the park and making two trips in on one day do I have to pay twice or does it cover the whole day?

Dear Soft Top,

Thanks for the query. You may depart from the park as long as you have paid conservation fees for that day and return again on that same day, as long as you keep your entrance permit and are able to identify yourself. Overnight guests pay conservation fees per night.

With kind regards.
