Thank you Hilda and Jan.

Agree, Jan - some of them are quite sizeable, but what amazes me is how some of the waterbirds get so close to them.

The only croc I could see was this one, but got excellent eye level sightings at Biyamiti Weir and Shipandani-hide causeway (2 of my other favourite spots).
Image

Hippos were also relatively quite, but got rewarded with a good one at Ntsemani dam, just outside Satara. I will post some photos on upcoming TR.

Looking back from page 1 of this threat, it is just amazing the number of magnificent sightings that were posted, let alone the quality of the photos :cam: . Look at page 2 and 3 and so one can go on and on - always something refreshing. Well done, Jan - you have started something great. and to everyone that had shared their experience.

This is really inspirational and you just cannot help it to want pack up to visit Lake Panic. Or... :hmz: when doing your planning for next Kruger trip, it is as if there is a tussle how much time you want to spend at Lake Panic and how much time in the rest of Kruger....
