Good Morning V's

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

spargish wrote:Hey every one

I hope you are being spoiled if you have a valentine

Have you heard the Oscar Story, It is desperately sad    made me numb this morning

Hi Spargs, unfortunately I dont have a Valentines Date, so I will not be getting spoilt by anyone, and in that case I am also saving money since I dont have to spoil anyone.

What happened to Oscar, I did not hear anything.

Can you believe the umpires for falsely giving Jacques Henry Kallis OUT, They should read the rules :rtm:

I will be updating my TR today

Howzit V's :D

Well lets look at the situation within the match ... Younis Khan was given not out on an LBW appeal, and this decision was reviewed. Upon seeing the review, it was confirmed it was not LBW because he edged it. Then it was reversed from Not out to Out. It did not matter what the review is for, except that there must be sufficient evidence to overturn the decision. In other words, the old cricket law of benefit of the doubt to the batsman is no longer there, it is benefit of the doubt to the umpires call.

Kallis was given out for catch, but went up for a review and found he was given out LBW. It was clipping the wickets so it was 'umpires call'. It does not matter if the umpire gave him out originally for LBW or a catch, there must be sufficient evidence to overturn the fact that he is out.

So it was a tricky situation

Hi everyone :D

The Proteas are struggling having lost 2 wickets already against Pakistan  We really need these two to stick around! Especially with one batsman short after Kallis is out injured, and his place taker is a bowler.

Despite the fact that we knew of the movement early on, we selected to bat because of the Ajmal factor later on :hmz: If we can end the first session on 2 down, we will count ourselves the winners of the session! Come on Fad and Hashim!!
