Yayay!!! Just been catching up on this topic...did not know it existed! We have been to Tsendze twice and loved both times...and...we booked to go again 23-26 August  So excited to go back to the bush! Great to have you on the forum Rodger the updates are great. We will be staying at site number 25...don't mind too much about shade but being near the fence is almost a must...is it? Thanks again for a great topic :D

Here I am back in my office when only 3 days ago I still heard the simphony of lions roar outside Tsendze Camp. What a wonderful experience we had! Tsendze is our new favourite place in the Kruger! :D

We camped on Site nr 29 and although it turned into a swamp with the first bit of rain we made the best of it and still had a great time!

To Rodger and Elina I wish to say a very special Thank You! Your dedication and hard work makes Tsendze the special place it is. I miss our late evening chats and small lectures on things about the bush we did not know! Knowledge is Power and we now know all about Mopani Worms. Dead or alive! LOL!

Gogo and Oupa also send their regards and hope you enjoyed the Cookies!

Keep well till next year!

Hello
after ten years this year we'll be back to the Kruger but to Tszende for the first time, unfortunately we stay only for one night, but we hope it is also special because it will be August 14th which is our wedding anniversary.
We wanted to ask therefore Rodgerh and other habitués of Tszende advice for the site, in August I think is not important the shadow, we are interested to animals, so close to the fence, and of course private....we read the tips written on the forum and thought to number 26 or number 3
Also how do we reserve the number of the site? we do not have good English and phone is a problem ... we can also do it by email? or maybe Rodgerh can help us to book a good site ... we cannot wait to be there
Ciao from Italy

Giorgio & Rosy

Hi

Could you please advise on camp site 15 at Tsendze. Is it close to the perimeter and does it have shade. Is it suitable for a caravan?

Thank you!

Congratulations Rodger and Elina!!!
Galago, we stayed at no:15 last year, it is suitable for a caravan and has lovely shade, but not near the perimeter. Having said that we loved it, it is private and no too far from ablutions. Will look for a pic to post for you!

As I am very new to this forum business (though KNP lover of old) I do hope I am doing things correctly.
We have booked three nights at Tsendze in October, after many months of longing and wanting, but now need to make sure we have the right site. We will be in a 2.7m high motorhome, so need a site that does not have much in the way of tree overhang. Any advice? Also, once we know which is the right site for us, how do we go about reserving it?
