Coming from Tsitsikamma direction, which is the best gate to enter Addo Elephant Park?

Without doubt the Colchester entrance is the easiest to get to from Port Elisabeth.
Having said that you can't transit through the park to the main camp after the gates are closed.
It takes about an hour or so to drive from the Colchester entrance to the Main Camp.

Also note that you are not allowed to enter through this gate (Matyholweni gate) with either a caravan or trailer in tow.

Many thanks for confirming that the Colchester gate is the most suitable.
